Msindisi Fengu is a multi-winning investigative journalist with two qualifications: a degree in International Relations from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma in Journalism from Walter Sisulu University (WSU).
Fengu worked as an unpaid intern in the communications unit at WSU before branching off to journalism when he joined a community newspaper in the Eastern Cape as a general reporter.
He was later hired by a regional/provincial newspaper in that province the Daily Dispatch, where he racked in national and international awards including the CNN MultiChoice African Journalist of the Year (2013) and a runner-up for Global Investigative Journalism Shining Light Award (2013) for initiating investigative projects in education and health.
He has just left City Press, a national newspaper in SA, where he covered education, general news and investigations.
