Kenya Robles is a journalist with a background in developmental biology, waste management, and scientific illustration. She has over three years of experience leading research projects, documentaries, and podcasts. Kenya directed the documentary “Kerem Ta: A Refuge for Childhood in La Merced.” Her proficiency in Mexican Sign Language allows her to connect with diverse audiences effectively.

Lilia Balam is an investigative journalist and photojournalist. She has collaborated with media outlets such as Die Zeit, Gatopardo, Coolt, Volcánicas, Distintas Latitudes, Sin Embargo, Pie de Página and Memorias de Nómada, covering human rights, gender, health and environmental issues. She belongs to the fifth generation of the Latin American Network of Young Journalists (#RedLATAM),
